i) Involved Sales,Warehouse & Shipping Dept.
ii) Order – to – delivery process as below: -

SALES
Receive Customer Order --> Using a real time inventory to confirm the stock status --> Create Sales Order --> Post to Warehouse for arrange shipment

WAREHOUSE
Go through with Sales order information (Customer Name, Ship to address, item no and more)--> Generate a Delivery Order and Packing Skip with serial no. from Pick and Pack Manager --> Post shipment

SYSTEM AUTOMATIC
Update an inventory --> sent shipping confirmation to customer (included tracking no. and shipment details ---> inform to salesman the about shipment status

iii) Investing in ERP/SAP, Companies would be consider which business they will grow and maintains. What are the benefits they using an ERP system? Costing for development and maintenance? How many Customers we need to support? How many employees and department will be involved? How large a business we need to grow and maintain? What’s the further business planning? It is important things need to Considering. Normally, the ERP system is not suitable for a small business which development cost more than HK$50/k it was very difficult to afford.
